The Trail Ridge Longbeards Chapter is proud to announce our XTREME JAKES CONSERVATION Scholarships are available to graduating seniors in Clay County High Schools.
Students can now compete at the local level for college scholarships sponsored by the NWTF. But it doesn't stop there.
All students receiving a local Trail Ridge Longbeards Xtreme JAKES Conservation Scholarships for $250 or more will have the opportunity to compete for a Florida State Chapter Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 scholarship. Florida State Chapter winners will compete for a $10,000 NWTF National Scholarship. Eligibility information for recipients and deadlines for each phase of the process are included with the scholarship application packets available from your senior guidance counselor. Contact Trail Ridge Longbeards Chapter President Steven Dieck nwtfgobble@bellsouth.net for more information on how you could become the next $1000 Trail Ridge Longbeards Scholarship recipient and you will lso receive one free Hunting Heritage Banquet Event ticket where you will be presented your sholarship in the amount of $1000 dollars.
These scholarships are set up to ensure the NWTF has the dedicated conservationists needed for the future and is a part of the NWTF's Five-Star program. Applicants for the scholarship must be members of the NWTF and are judged on their scholastic achievements, leadership abilities, community involvement and commitment to conservation.

The NWTF also partners with Future Farmers of America to provide scholarships: The NWTF provides a $5,000 scholarship to a student pursuing a wildlife management or agriculture degree. The scholarship fund is administered through the National Future Farmers of America Foundation. For more information, see your FFA advisor.
